📞 I Didn't Receive a Doctor Call — Here's What to Do

When you schedule your appointment, you're choosing a call window — not an exact time. Our doctors may call anytime during that scheduled window. Please keep your phone nearby with the volume on. Some calls may show as "Spam" or from an unknown number. It's a quick call and you don't need to have anything with you.

📧 Check your confirmation email first

We send a confirmation email automatically when you book. It shows everything you need to recognize the call:

  • The doctor's name assigned to your appointment
  • A hint of the phone number they'll be calling from
  • The phone number you provided (so you can verify it's correct)
  • Your date and time window

How we try to reach you

  • 📱 Our doctors will try to reach you twice during your window — by phone and by text.
  • 📨 If we don't get a response, our staff will email you to verify your phone number.
  • 🔁 Once we confirm the right number, the doctor will try again.

We've got you covered

  • ✅ If the doctor misses you, we'll follow up the next day to help reschedule.
  • ✅ If a phone number was entered incorrectly, we'll catch it — our team monitors all progress.
  • ✅ You can always reach out to us if it's been 24 hours and you haven't received a text or email.
⚠️ Please make sure spam blocking is turned off on your phone. Our doctors make a lot of calls each day, and phone carriers sometimes designate them as Spam or Potential Spam. With spam blocking on, your phone may silence the call before it ever reaches you — even if your ringer is up.

Frequently asked questions

Why didn't the doctor call me at the exact time I scheduled?

Green Bridge Society appointments are scheduled as call windows, not exact times. The doctor may call anytime during your scheduled window. Keep your phone nearby with the volume on throughout the entire window.

Where can I find my appointment details?

We send a confirmation email automatically when you book. It shows the doctor's name, a hint of their phone number, the phone number you provided, and your scheduled date and time window. Check your inbox and spam folder right after booking.

What if the doctor's call shows as spam or an unknown number?

Our doctors make many calls each day, and phone carriers sometimes flag their numbers as Spam or Potential Spam. Turn off spam blocking on your phone before your appointment window and answer all incoming calls during the window — even ones that look suspicious.

How many times will the doctor try to reach me?

Our doctors will attempt to reach you twice during your scheduled window — by phone and by text. If they don't get a response, our staff will email you to verify your phone number, then have the doctor try you again.

What should I do if I never received a call?

First, check that spam blocking is turned off and look for any missed calls or texts from unknown numbers. Check your email — including spam — for a follow-up from our staff. If 24 hours have passed since your appointment window with no contact, call us at (814) 360-5353.

What if I gave the wrong phone number when booking?

Our team monitors appointment progress and usually catches phone number errors before they become a problem. If you realize the number is wrong, contact us immediately at (814) 360-5353 or reply to your confirmation email so we can update your record before the doctor tries again.

How do I turn off spam blocking on my phone?

On most iPhones: Settings → Phone → Silence Unknown Callers (turn off). On most Android phones: Phone app → Settings → Caller ID & spam (turn off). Carrier-level spam filters (T-Mobile Scam Shield, Verizon Call Filter, AT&T ActiveArmor) may also be running — check those apps too.
