💡 Heads up: New York, Louisiana, and Maine don't use traditional patient logins the same way PA, WV, OH, MI, MD, and OK do. If you're in one of those states and can't access something, contact us — what you need may not actually be a portal login.

How to Reset Your Login

These steps work the same in every state we serve. The button labels may differ slightly, but the flow is identical.

Navigate to your state's patient login page

Use the state cards above to go directly to your portal.

Click "Forgot Username or Password"

On the login page, look for the reset link. It's usually right under the password field. The exact wording varies: "Forgot Password," "Reset Password," "Need help signing in?" or similar — they all do the same thing.

Request your username reminder

Enter the email address you used to register with the state. Your username (or login email) will be sent to your inbox right away.

📧 Check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it. Make a note of your username exactly as it appears — usernames are often case-sensitive.

Reset your password

Return to the login page, click "Forgot Password" again, and enter your username (or email) to receive a password reset link.

Create your new password

Set a new password and carefully write it down or save it somewhere secure.

Most state portals require:

At least 8 characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters, a number, and a symbol (such as ? or !). Some states won't let you reuse your last 5 passwords.

Log in with your new credentials

The state will take you to the login page where you can enter your username and new password to log in.

⚠️ No longer have access to your email?

If you no longer have access to the email address you used to register your account, you can either reach out to your state directly to have it updated, or send us a help request and we can assist you.

Common questions

My password reset email never arrived. What do I check?

Check your spam or junk folder first. If it's not there, add the state portal's no-reply email to your contacts and request the reset again. Some states — especially Pennsylvania — have systems that take a few minutes to send the email. Wait 30 minutes before trying a third time. If you still don't get it, contact us at (814) 360-5353.

I don't remember which email I used to register. How do I find it?

Try every email address you've ever used — the password reset request will tell you whether the address is on file. If none of them work, the email on your state account may have been an old or seldom-used address. Contact your state's medical marijuana program directly or send us a help request and we'll walk you through it.

My account is locked after too many failed attempts. What now?

Most state portals lock accounts after 3-5 failed login attempts. Wait 15-30 minutes and try again, or use the password reset link — a successful reset usually clears the lockout. If your account remains locked, the state's helpdesk can unlock it manually.

Are these instructions the same in every state?

Yes — the recovery flow is essentially identical across PA, WV, OH, MI, VA, MD, and OK. The button labels and screen layouts differ slightly, but the six steps above apply everywhere. NY, LA, and ME don't use the same kind of patient login portal, so reach out if you're in one of those states and need help.

Can Green Bridge log in to my state account for me?

No — for security reasons we never ask for or store state portal credentials. We can walk you through every step over the phone or in a free support session, but the login itself stays in your hands.
