State Portal Help — FAQs
Common questions about state medical cannabis portal assistance. Don't see your question? Schedule a call and we'll work through it together.
Which state portals can you help with?
We help patients in every state we certify: Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Virginia, Maryland, New York, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Maine. Whether it's the PA DOH patient portal, the WV OMC portal, the Ohio DCC registry, Michigan's CRA system, Maryland's OneStop, Oklahoma's OMMA portal, or any other — we know the steps and the common pitfalls.
Do I have to be a current Green Bridge patient to get portal help?
Portal assistance is included as part of every certification or renewal we do. If you're brand new and just trying to figure out which steps you need before scheduling a doctor visit, you can still call us — we'll point you in the right direction.
What if I'm completely locked out of my state account?
That's one of the most common things we handle. Lockouts usually happen because of forgotten passwords, expired email links, or address mismatches. We'll walk you through resetting access — or escalating to the state helpdesk when needed.
Pennsylvania has a state helpdesk at 1-888-733-5595 (7 AM – 9 PM ET, 7 days a week) for issues only the state can fix (like name changes). For everything else, we can help directly.
How long does a portal help call usually take?
Most calls take 10-20 minutes. Simple issues (resetting a password, completing a payment step) are usually under 10 minutes. Complex situations involving expired certifications, address verification, or document uploads may run a bit longer. We stay on the call until your issue is resolved.
What information should I have ready before the call?
Have these on hand if possible: your state ID or driver's license, the email address you use for your state portal account, your patient ID (if you know it), and access to whatever device you'll use to log in. If you're getting a specific error message, screenshot it before the call — that often speeds up the fix.
My card isn't working at the dispensary — can you help?
Yes. About 90% of "my card isn't working" problems are state portal issues, not doctor-side issues — unpaid state fees, expired certifications, address mismatches, or accounts marked inactive. We can usually identify the issue in 5 minutes and walk you through fixing it.
What does "portal assistance" cost?
If you're certifying or renewing with us, portal help is included — no extra charge. We don't believe in handing patients off after the doctor call and leaving them to figure out the state side alone. Standalone portal-only assistance for non-patients may have a small fee depending on the situation; we'll be upfront about that when you book.
What if my issue can only be fixed by the state directly?
Some changes — legal name changes, email address updates on PA accounts, and certain identity verification holds — can only be done by the state itself. We'll tell you exactly which agency to call, what to ask for, what documents to have ready, and what hours they're available. We've made these calls hundreds of times and we know the right phrasing to get things moving.
