In Pennsylvania, you need a doctor’s certification *annually*. That’s what we do at Green Bridge Society.
The PA Department of Health (DOH) is responsible for printing and mailing your card.
Patient Responsibility: It is your responsibility to maintain your account with the PA DOH but we are here to assist you.
Annual State Fee:  This fee is not the same as the doctor’s certification fee and must be paid separately for your card to remain active.

**Note**: You must complete this step even if you are anticipating a waiver.
Important Timeline: "90 Days" If you are certified but fail to pay the state fee within 90 days, the PA DOH will cancel your doctor’s certificate. This means You’ll need to restart the process from the beginning.
