Before your appointment, please review this quick checklist.

  1. Find your confirmation email

    You should receive a confirmation email within a few minutes. If you don’t see it, check your spam/junk and “Promotions” tabs, or search for “booking confirmation”.

  2. Doctor calls happen within a time window

    Calls do not come at exact appointment times. Your doctor will call during the window you selected—Morning, Afternoon, or Evening. Please keep your phone nearby, and remember calls may appear as spam or unknown numbers. Some doctors may text first.

  3. If you got a “Canceled: timed out” notice

    That means checkout wasn’t finished in time and the appointment was voided. Any pending payment authorization is automatically voided as well. You can simply rebook.

  4. Verify your state portal details

    • Mailing address: Make sure it’s correct—this is where the state mails your card.
    • State fee: If your annual fee is due, pay it in your state account. The doctor’s renewal triggers the new card to be mailed; the state fee (or waiver) keeps your card working.
  5. “Where’s my card?”

    You can check card status anytime on our Help page—click “Where’s my card”.

Tip: If you used a different email at checkout than the one on your state account, update your state profile so your mailed card isn’t delayed.
