🌿 West Virginia Renewing Patients — After the Doctor Certifies You

⚠️ Don’t click “Create New Application”

That’s the #1 mistake patients make and the OMC makes it a little confusing.

✅ Use the menu on your existing license line

Click the ⋮ menu on the right and choose Renewing Patient.

Open the License Dashboard

Find the row showing your status as Approved.

Click the menu on the right

Select Renewing Patient from the dropdown.

Verify your account details

Make sure your name, address, and contact info are correct.

Upload required photos

Driver’s license or state ID, passport-style selfie (plain background—smile!), and one proof of residency.

Pay the state fee

Pay online via ACH or mail a check/money order.

In order to secure your appointment slot, please be ready to complete your booking now. You have 20:00 minutes to finish.
Have your payment method and information ready before you begin. If the timer runs out, the page will refresh and your slot may be released. When you are ready to begin, please click the Start button. You are choosing for a Morning, Afternoon, or Evening call. Calls do not come at the specific time.
